Our Beginnings

Having the good fortune of 20+ years of experience working in and with Fortune 500 organizations, we’ve learned through personal experience that the magic or misery of an organization lies within the DNA of its relationships. Yes, good systems and processes are necessary, but insufficient on their own if an organization truly seeks to thrive. The most important — and most frequently overlooked — aspect in creating a thriving organization is the commitment to create, develop, and maintain healthy and productive relationships across the enterprise.

As a result, 512 Leadership Group was launched in 2011 as a small business dedicated to serving organizations that are looking to thrive. We are a company that remains purposefully committed to the FIVE core values on which we are founded — integrity, resilience, authenticity, service, and commitment to excellence.

Our company's founder and Managing Partner is Maura Parda. 

Maura is an Executive Coach certified in Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance from George Mason University. She holds an MBA and International Coaching Federation (ICF) credentials with 25 years business experience in organizational development, program management, consulting, and sales/business development. She has held leadership positions in Fortune 500 organizations including IBM, Xerox, and Booz Allen Hamilton. She has worked with private sector, non-profit, and government organizations to help them achieve business objectives and organizational change through strategic planning, talent management, and effective leadership.

She integrates relevant business experience with exceptional coaching skills to improve a leader's performance while deepening employee engagement and collaboration. By combining deep organizational development expertise with practical leadership experience, Maura helps clients lead more authentically, optimize team performance, and create an environment of trust.

Our Founder

The end result is a sustainable level of change for both the individual and the organization. Her coaching is delivered within an organizational context, proving highly effective in supporting cultural change initiatives, and she is recognized for her strong team facilitation and team coaching capabilities.

Maura is supported by a strong network of collaborative business partners and executive coaches. We have built a virtual team of ICF-credentialed coaches who agree to deliver coaching in adherence to our THRIVE framework, and who share the same level of professionalism and passion for powerful coaching and organization transformation. We work diligently to maintain ongoing relationships with this cadre, and are extremely active in continually expanding our capacity. We collaborate with our partners to meet peak surges in volume, demand, or compressed timelines.

In addition to her work as Managing Director, Maura serves in a global Discerning Leadership Program supporting the formation of leaders within the Catholic Church. In 2023, she launched Alive2Thrive, a community and collaborative to empower leaders in times of transformation.
